  • Marveling at the progression of colors before my eyes, I did not think it could get any cooler. Then the train came through!

Tonal

  • This was one of those stormy summer days that had the added effect of wildfire smoke. (An all too common thing now days.) It does make for great high and low key photography though.

High Key

  • This felt to me like the ultimate in the expression of not only endurance, but the irresistible pull of exploration of the human spirit.

  • I love wandering around outside when most people are inside. There is a kind of serenity and excitement in the silence.

  • I love how the sails complement the shape of the bridge.

  • Traveling under the Tappan Zee. Different perspectives can show us whole other worlds we didn’t conceive of.

  • These benches seemed to invite contemplation. They evoke a feeling of solitude and yet also of possibility.

  • I love being able to see the landscape on a wide angle. As the tugboat pushes up the river, you can observe the palisades and the landslide that is now filled with trees.
